Special instructions   Let's Hike! The most horrid part of the year is mostly over so lets get hiking. I have scheduled this hike for 10:00 a.m. so that we can beat some of the September heat. This is our fist official hike, so do not forget to bring plenty of water because it will be pretty toasty out there.

Directions  From south MoPac, take the Loop 360 exit and head east. The first light includes a left turn lane which leads you into a parking lot for the office building next to the trail entrance.

The Good  Water crossings allow places for cooling off if you get too warm.

Where  Gus Fuhr Park

Notes  There are various trails that start at this trailhead, there are oppurtunities to see Texas wildlife, hike near Barton Creek, and maybe glimpse a waterfall.
