This hike has been hijacked, and changed from a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains to an all day (night) relaxed day at the Rhino Ranch.
You are welcome to come to the Ranch anytime after 9.09 am, perhaps eat some breakfast if you like.
We will probably head up for a hike just North ( http://www.hikethegeek.com/LA/Hikes/details.php?locid=12& )
This is potluck. Pool will be heated, bring a suit, towel, fireplace will be on.
Come relax, bring your laptop, a game, lots of couches and places to relax.
No pressure, come when ever you like. There is no theme, just hang out and enjoy. You don\'t have to hike, just hang at the Ranch if you like.

Directions Coming from south of the 134, take the 5 freeway north to the Sunland exit. Head North on Sunland Blvd about 2km to Penrose, turn right.
Drive east until you hit the last house on the right.

Notes This is a home just north of Burbank. We have wireless (and wired) so feel free to bring your laptop. Most events include use of the pool, which is black bottomed, bring towel + suit. Almost all events are potluck, so share food, share wit, share the fun.
As long as you are cool, you are welcome. This is a great place and time to make a new friend.
