Directions From the US-101
Take exit 29 for Valley Cir Blvd toward Mulholland Dr
Turn right at Valley Cir Blvd (signs for Valley Cir Blvd)
Turn left at Victory Blvd and drive to the parking lot at the very end. |

I am told this is a great place for dog walking. But be sure to bring a leash. |

The Bad Wide open sky. Not much cover. Great on a cool day.
$3 parking fee at trailhead, so get there early if wanting to partake in free street parking about 1/4 mile away. |

Notes Many historic movies were filmed at Ahmanson Ranch, then known as Lasky Mesa. Among the movies were Gone With the Wind, The Thundering Herd, The Charge of the Light Brigade and They Died With Their Boots On.
This hike has next to no elevation change, but there are so many great paths that we could hike just as long as we wish. |
