Special instructions   With the recent rain, the lower trail is bound to be a bit muddy. As such, shoes with thick treads
are recommended.

Directions  
From the Pacific Coast Highway, turn east onto Sunset Blvd. and quick left onto Los Liones Drive. The trail head is about 0.6 miles up Los Liones Drive, just before it makes a sharp turn to the west. We will meet at the small parking lot next to the restrooms, before the LDS church.

The Good  
- Street parking is free.
- Restrooms available

The Bad  
- Sorry, no pets allowed.
- There may be photo enforced stop signs. Always come to a full stop inside the park.
- Parking can be congested, so carpool.

Where  Topanga State Park

Notes  
From the meeting point we will head north onto the beautiful and shaded Los Liones Trail. Then, after 2 miles we will take the fire road up to the Parker Mesa overlook. There we can enjoy the spectacular view from the Santa Monica Bay to the San Bernardino Mountains. We will hike as far as we like.
