Notes Most of the trails are in second-growth forest as the area was logged about 100 years ago. The sensitive wetlands and beaver ponds can be viewed only from the hiker-only trails. Here you may encounter wildlife, including herons, deer, Douglas squirrels, chipmunks, porcupine and beaver.
