Notes Situated south of Union Bay, the Arboretum is a juxtaposition of highway, wetlands and landscaped gardens -- and somehow it works. Even the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge offers nesting sites for several species of birds, despite the thousands of vehicles that pass overhead on an average day. There are about four miles of walking on easy trails without elevation gain -- obviously not the place to go for a workout.
